Bud Flanagan founded Noragh Analytics, Inc. in 2010 to bring unstructured analytics to commercial markets. This followed the successful establishment and sale of two companies, Skarven Enterprises and Kestrel Enterprises, to The Boeing Company in 2008. These companies provided software development of risk assessment technology and analytic services to commercial and government markets.
Upon retirement from the U.S. Navy as Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Flanagan joined Cantor Fitzgerald LLP as Senior Managing Director. He developed derivative products for emerging and unregulated energy markets, to include power, natural gas, oil and other traditional commodities. He has also provided strategic advice to a portfolio of U.S. and international technology firms, as well as to foreign clients, creating innovative business development opportunities, financial strategies and technology solutions.
Flanagan is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, American University and the Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of IAP Worldwide Services and is Chairman of the Advisory Board to the Panama Canal Authority. He has served on the boards of public and privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations.
BA Flanagan serves as Noragh’s Chief Executive Officer.
From 2002 to 2008, she successfully co-founded two companies, Kestrel Enterprises and Skarven Enterprises. Skarven, a software development company, developed real time risk assessment and information management technology, while Kestrel was an analytics company supporting government national security programs. In 2008, both firms were acquired by The Boeing Company. From 2009-2013, she led their growth and integration into Boeing, assuming responsibilities as Director, Integrated Information Systems (IIS).
Ms. Flanagan is a graduate of the former Mt. Vernon College, currently George Washington University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Robyn joined Noragh Analytics in 2016 to spearhead the company’s efforts to translate and implement Noragh’s unique analytic capabilities to achieve efficiencies and effectiveness in support of client objectives and priorities. Robyn is responsible for shepherding the company’s delivery of new analytic solutions to the market and facilitating the integration of Noragh’s Analytics, Technology, Business Development, and Sales efforts to provide clients with a seamless transition to its game-changing solution.
An attorney with a wealth of experience in the insurance sector, she brings a unique combination of analytic capabilities, interest in technology architectures and strong communication skills to effect transformative solutions to client needs. She began her legal career in San Francisco, specializing in health care and life sciences law, and then moved in-house to Kaiser Permanente. In this capacity, she supported the care delivery system, with an emphasis on health care regulatory compliance, hospital operations, and patient care issues.
Robyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from U.C.L.A., interned in a heart genetics laboratory at U.C.S.D., and earned her Juris Doctorate from U.C. Berkeley School of Law, where she earned two Jurisprudence Awards and a Prosser Prize.
Mike Cahill directs portfolio planning, software development and technology operations for Noragh. Primarily in an architecture role, he ensures Noragh’s future products maintain focus on, and push the envelope of, human-centered analytics, ease-of-operations and reliability. Mike leads a best-in-class technical staff who seamlessly integrate Noragh offerings into client enterprises and ensure uninterrupted and efficient daily operations.
Mike has thirty years’ experience in software systems architecture, development management and security. Prior to joining Noragh, he worked for Boeing-Kestrel, leading integration and service development efforts for TAC and related capabilities for the Office of the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and several intelligence and law enforcement agencies. That work built on 10 years at Bell Labs where Mike re-architected and productized research projects in database technology, statistical analysis and infrastructure protection, leading to several successful products including the fraud reduction system that provided the baseline for TAC. He has also chaired standards committees on wiretap support and billing, and holds two patents in telecommunications fraud reduction. He continues to explore the application of maturing technologies, including machine learning, to human-centered analysis.
Mike received a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer.
Jason joined Noragh following his previous position as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Pricing and Treasury Services at IAP Worldwide Services. He brings diverse leadership experience as a former Program Manager in the aerospace & defense industry and in the commercial telecommunications software industry. Jason also served as Vice President of Program Management at the Kestrel business unit of Boeing Defense, Space & Security overseeing the program management organization and providing all programmatic and financial analysis needed to successfully operate the division. Jason has extensive experience selling software and client engagements in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America for both the commercial and public sectors.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Ms. Oswald brings more than 25 years of diverse business and leadership experience to Noragh with previous experience and executive roles in defense and technology companies, both privately-held and commercial companies. She has forged and managed business and professional relationships with government and commercial clients, technology incubators and Fortune 50 companies. Previous responsibilities spanned finance, sales, marketing, public relations, legal, procurement, proposal management, contracts, subcontracts and project management.
Charlotte earned a Masters of Business Administration from the George Washington University. She is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Prior to joining Noragh, he was Director of Integrated Information Systems, an operating unit of Boeing Defense, Space & Security from 2013 to 2015. From 2011-2013 he acted as CEO of the Boeing-Kestrel business unit, providing analytic and technology solutions to varied government clients. His operational business experience includes responsibilities as Vice President for Operations, Chief Operating Officer and President at Kestrel Enterprises prior to the company’s 2008 acquisition by The Boeing Company. He joined Kestrel Enterprises in 2003 upon completion of a distinguished 20-year career as a naval intelligence officer.
In addition to graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, he earned a Master’s degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and was a Federal Executive Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Jon has extensive analytic experience in employing Noragh’s proprietary analytic methodology and technology solutions to meet client driven business goals and organizational objectives. This ranges from improved revenue yield management modeling within the airline, hotel and rental car industries to geo-political risk and trends.
From 2014 – 2016, Jon was the Law Enforcement and National Capital Region Manager for Boeing Intelligence and Analytics, an operating unit of Boeing Defense, Space & Security. His analytic experience spanned support to to the Sales and Manufacturing divisions of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the National Joint Operational Intelligence Center (NJOIC) in the Pentagon, and the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Organization (JIEDDO).
Jon is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and served as a Captain in the US Army, from 2004 to 2010, where he was deployed as a Combat Engineer in Iraq. Jon graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University.
